With only one week to spend on all facets of this game, the design had to be simple yet present some kind of replayability so I opted for random events. Also, due to technical and knowledge limitations mechanics had to suffer.
Multimedia Fusion 2 "Programmer"
MMF2 presents simplified tools to create applications. It requires a bit of logic to create more advance things though.
Smoke Scream was very much a technical experiment to create what seemingly is a very simple game.
2D Artist
The graphics are homage to the early console games. The main character is acctually one the most complex, technically speaking, made by me in MMF2 consisting of six different sprites to handle collision detection, layer rendering and allowing different parts of him beeing animated separately.

About Smoke Scream
Your oxygen tank level is getting low, but you know theres five more people left on this floor! Navigate the office landscape to find the victims before the fire claims them. But beware: in this blazing inferno the wildfire rules and there is no place that is safe.
